A beautiful old coaching inn situated in Ealing, the Ealing Park Tavern was in a state of disrepair with dwindling trade before award-winning restaurant group ETM took over the site.

The interior of the restaurant was completely overhauled. Removal of the old, worn pewter bar top and replacement with a new curved solid oak top, and recoating of the existing bar immediately livened up the bar area. The ceiling was fully fireproofed throughout the venue before being plastered and wallpapered. New lighting systems were installed, to show off the new back fitting, and brick – slipped wall, following through with the traditional old pub feel.

The original oak panelling was painstakingly restored to its former glory, with extensive repairs undertaken throughout, ensuring the utmost care was taken to ensure a realistic aged finish in keeping with the historic mood of the venue.

Full redecoration and floor recoating lifted the interior of the venue, without losing any of its original character.

Manufacture and installation of full height oak wall panelling through the dining room tied the space back in with the bar area, achieving an equal flow of the traditional old school pub styling throughout. Installation of a steel and reeded glass food servery surround tied in with this theme, whilst effectively segregating the kitchen area from the dining room.

Previously an untidy array of concrete furniture, a total redesign of the beer garden saw the construction of multicoloured beach shacks to provide sheltered seating for customers preferring to dine or enjoy a drink outdoors. The refit has seen such a large rise in trade that ETM have since opted to install a pizza oven and barbeque setup to offer an outside food menu, as the kitchen struggles to cope with the constantly full capacity of the restaurant alone.

To the side of the pub, the Old Coach House provided an excellent opportunity for ETM to install their own microbrewery, and offer their own line of homebrew throughout their chain of restaurants, as well as in gift sets. The upper floor was lovingly restored to a 'Brewmasters office' themed function room, where guests can taste the selection of beers straight from the brewery itself, and the downstairs fitted out with top of the range brewery equipment. Installation of drainage services and concreting of the surrounding yard enabled fork truck accessibility as well as storage space for kegs before being shipped to various other ETM sites.
