Situated in the heart of Shoreditch, The Princess was the first of Scott and Maria Hunter’s many successful sites, and the birth of Noble Inns.

Upon taking over the site, Scott wanted to completely overhaul the existing setup to accommodate for the new direction he was wanting to go with the venue. Manufacture and installation of a new bar and back fitting instantly lifted the previous drab interior of the restaurant, as well as a fire break around the existing staircase to the upper dining room, bringing the building up to fire regulations whilst adding more feature to the bar area in keeping with the original styling. Finished off with all new waiters points tailored to the exact needs of the client, along with banquette seating, and convenient drink shelving the transformation of the bar area was complete.

Upstairs, movement of kitchen walls made operation easier and more productive for the new kitchen staff, and replumbing and rewiring of the site was undertaken to replace the original inadequate services. Finalised with full redecoration, and rebranding, The Princess of Shoreditch was brought to life.

Following the success of The Princess and the subsequent growth of Noble Inns, we later returned to completely overhaul the kitchen, featuring full hygienic wall cladding and new Altro flooring, and a completely new catering kitchen. Staff stairways and back areas were also completely cladded with chequer plating and corner protection, providing a more heavy-duty area to cope with the increased output of the kitchen.
